Three years on, my loyalty to this spot remains unwavering! It truly is Carlton's best-kept secret, perfect for catching up or holding meetings. Julie's consistently wonderful and chipper demeanor, coupled with their ever-evolving seasonal menu, makes every visit a delight, and it genuinely feels like a second home. Having recently moved in across the road, I decided to give this cafe a try just a few days ago, and within days, it effortlessly claimed the title of my favorite cafe in the entire city. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is consistently delicious and budget-friendly, the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and inviting, and the amazing aroma greets you even before you step inside. Plus, their coffee has a magical way of instantly brightening my day! I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by for brunch, a meeting, or simply a refreshing pick-me-up if you find yourself on Lygon Street or anywhere nearby.

I had a truly wonderful experience, with the food being absolutely fantastic. The pumpkin soup, accompanied by sourdough, was incredibly nice, and the egg & bacon roll was just what I needed to make a chilly morning perfect. Plus, the coffee was exceptionally good.

This charming little cafe was a perfect escape from The Melbourne Museum, especially since the museum itself doesn't have a cafe. I was particularly impressed by the excellent Star Wars Lego display. I wholeheartedly recommend this delightful spot.

It's evident this is a beautifully managed, family-owned cafe, where the care put into preparing the food truly shines through, especially with the chicken ciabatta, which is an absolute must-have that I can't recommend enough. The owners themselves are wonderfully professional, warm, and friendly, consistently going the extra mile to get to know their customers.
